Roger started by pointing out that all of us are sexually broken because of the sinful nature of being human. He went on to say that we live in a sex obsessed society. But in actual fact sex itself wasn't a problem.
Roger talked about the fact that God made sex and therefore it must be a good thing. However, the context for sex is always within marriage. Problems start happening when lust, which can be defined as 'sexual desire without honour and holiness', takes over.
Roger then used Jesus words in Matthew 5 about casting away body parts that cause you to stumble. That the essential meaning was in fact to recognise what makes us sin and the to not look at it, don't touch it and don't move towards it. He left us with some excellent advice: Don't repress, confess - Don't conceal, reveal.
The service itself was led excellently by Sam and Ben, and Tom Holmes led us in some fantastic sung worship.
